  • I enjoyed this show a lot. Pipe parts was very good. I have 50-60 pipes but other than being bent shapes there isn’t much of a theme to my collection. I enjoy Brian speak about his Disney pipes.

Brad Emery was a good guest. He had a lot of good things to say.

Sammy Davis is a person we just don’t keep in our memory. The guy could really sing, though.

  • Hi Brian,
I enjoyed this week’s show very much. I have culled my collection regularly over the last few years, using the proceeds to acquire more artisan pipes and some higher end factory pipes. I’ve culled down to 25 pipes that pretty much all get smoked regularly, though I notice a few get a little less attention and could end up being traded away at some point. As you said, a moveable feast. I enjoyed listening to Brad Emery. I always enjoy the people who have been in the industry/hobby for many years and can talk a little about the history. Love Sammy Davis, though not particularly that selection.

On a different subject, sone you are always looking for guests. Over the last few months a new to me name has suddenly popped up all over instagram: Ken Byron. Apparently something of an artisan tobacco blender. Knowing how few interesting blenders there are out there I thought you might want to try to get him on the show.

    Cheers,
    Ira
