Mike McNeil was nearly as negative as a guy could be about the IPCPR. To listen to him the show was a ghost town.
Nice interview with a guy who is trying learn how to carve pipes. He sounds like he has a long way to go.
What a totally fascinating and fun conversation with John! He seems so grounded and focused. I think he would have been a terrific spiritual leader. Doesn’t mean he couldn’t have made pipes, too. I look forward to his success as a pipe maker. Yes, revisiting John in a year would be very interesting.
Amazingly, my pup walked into the room just as Big Mama began her song. I picked her up and held her; a very nice moment.
And, I have known how Kevin and Lori feel. Please extend my deepest condolences.

Nice program, easy to listen to, interesting.
My favorite part: Brian – in response to the enthusiasm John expresses about his interview on the radio,
“well, you set the bar pretty low”,
John – “giggles”
Keep on puffin,
mike
I think John is a ‘what you see is what you get’ kind of guy.
I’ll be interested to hear him in a year or so, too. He sounds like a very grounded young man, and I wish him well.
Another great show, Brian!
