Your Favorite Match Blend

I enjoy many of the Match blends. Since I haven't smoked many of the originals, I am not overly concerned about if the match is identical or not. I enjoy the match for what it is and for what it is trying to accomplish. I like the fact that these old blends are being continued. IMO Sutliff does an admirable job with their Match blends. Other tobacco companies have their versions of the old time classics. IMHO our ancestors didn't have it too bad when it can to pipe tobacco. For those who have ventured into the realm of Match blends, what is your favorite. I like so many of them , but if I had to choose my favoite it would be either Sutliff Match Walnut or Match Holiday blend.

Some that I think are better than the original...

First one comes to mind is Sutliff match to Elizabethan.
The other is not a match, per se, to anything but it is heads and shoulders above most Balkans. It is Balkan Supreme. Either Arango or Peter Stokkebye. Same stuff.

Match 20 for 965 is pretty good.

I'll second @hauntedmyst about Sutliff Balkan Sobranie Orig. Mix Match. Simply beautiful, smokes like a champ, tastes heavenly. It's also one of the few blends I have that's all ready to go, no dry time necessary. When that impulsiveness kicks in (10 years of ritalin growing up in the 90s will do that), this makes all the difference!

I’m also a fan of Sutliff’s match blends. My favorite is Match Sunrise but have enjoyed the others I’ve samples, particularly Match Elizabethan, Field and Stream, Late Evening and Match 20

Robert McConnell St. James Park as a replacement for my precious Aperitif. It's not 100% accurate, but more like 95%, which is fine enough for me to enjoy it in lieu of my precious, discontinued Aperitif.

Why would ANYONE match Granger?

While not a match per say, Lancer Slices is supposed to be similar (but not very?) to some "popular" blends I haven't tried. How I can enjoy a deep smokey thick Memphis BBQ taste with heavy sweet cream mixed in I have no idea, but I do.
