The classic and austere look of L. J. Perettis's tins.

I'm really surprised that the Froggie blends haven't come up yet. While I am not a fan of their tobacco, the labels are awesome.
+1 - the FM labels take some grief for being "child-like" or whatever, but I really like them.
I also REALLY like all the Hermit/Caption Earle's labels.

"I like Squadron Leader. It's really simple, but I'm a sucker for WWI fighter planes."

Another favorite, Devil's Holiday. I nice bowl of this even makes the Devil smile.

Not a big fan of labels with just text on them, or labels where blenders use the same colors and fonts for different blends and you have to stop and read the text (like the Wessex Brigades). With the ease of creating graphics in this day and age, you'd think they'd put in a bit more effort.
Oh, and +1 on Squadron Leader as well.

Im a big fan of the frog morton blends as well. Love the feel that their tins give off. The make me want to sit by a pond and smoke a bowl.

I agree with everyone about the Squadron Leader, it's one of the coolest ever.
Player's Airman might do well too if it was resurrected...

Probably my favorite tin art is this old German stuff,

it's just badass!

My favorite contemporary label is probably Sextant,

...and Gaslight, and hell, GLP does a great job all around on his labels.
Since we're also throwin' oldschool stuff into the mix,

here's a few golden oldies...
I've always dug the Navy themed stuff,

The way 759 was a perfect negative of the white BS mixture I thought was brilliant.

The old 3N was very elegant and appealing.

Of course love the design of Peretti cans. I do enjoy the McC whale logo but don't like their blends.

Like Cosmicfolklore, I like the many classic paintings used for Sutliff tins such as the Botticelli used for Molto Dolce. In fact, in designing my pipe cabinet (which some of you may have heard me mention a few times lately), I'm going to install some extra shelves to display some Greco-Roman statue reproductions. I'm tired of looking at photos of nephews, grandchildren, etc.
