When they only make 50 lbs that makes it rather elusive to acquire ? Is Esoterica taking notes? ?

Is this stuff any good?

Here's my review of it:

The various matured, fermented reds, bright and stoved Virginias provide a wealth of stewed dark fruit, earth, wood, bread, sugar, some tart and tangy citrus, tangy darker fruit, grass, vegetation, mild floralness, a couple pinches of spice, and a very light essence vinegar. They are the lead components. The very fermented stewed fruity (plums, dates, figs, raisins) perique offers plenty of earth, wood, and light spice. It’s a notch below the support level. The strength and nic-hit are a step past the center mild to medium. The taste is a slot past that mark. There’s no chance of bite or harshness. Burns cool and clean at a moderate pace with a very consistent, smooth stewed fruity, mildly sugary, lightly spicy luscious flavor that extends to the lightly lingering, pleasant after taste. Barely leaves any dampness in the bowl. Requires an average number of relights. Has a pleasant room note. A fairly easy going all day smoke. Four stars.

According to the News section on the KBV website they'll be releasing more on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. (I'm assuming Central time since they are in Tennessee). Hopefully you'll be able to snag some then.

They sure like changing things up there don’t they. Added the 4 am and still doing a 2 pm. Interesting to see how they navigate sales. I had no idea pipe tobacco was this fascinating with regard to sales…it’s truly a sport.
