Received my Blue Ridge work pipe today. This feels nice, going to light it up later today. Only marks on this pipe are "Imported Briar" and "Blue Ridge". I'm really happy with it.

Thank you! I just ran some Black House through it, smokes really well.

Big thanks to Mr. Ejames for info about this. Blue Ridge pipe was made by Luther Marlow in the 1980's as the Blue Ridge Mountains Pipe Smokers' Collection. My next bowl will be some fine Virginia from Cosmic, thank you sir!

I hope I not catching this illness of buying pipes (again). I need to buy lumber!! Okay, just one more pipe, it's a work pipe. More pipes the more work. I found a Verona Arcobaleno #306. I have no idea what that name means, just looks like I should own it. Will be in the mail box Wednesday.

Great looking and styled pipe! I really like it. I will have to keep my eye on one of those for my "work" pipe
Cheers,

Jared

That Virginia was a great second smoke also! I damaged my hand on the sander earlier and the new pipe and a couple shot of 100 proof eased the pain. Pipe Monk - that does have a nice profile, thank you. As it is said in Virginia, where I'm from, "A blind hog will find an acorn" or pipe.

Arcobaleno translates to "rainbow" in Italian. As for Verona, other than being the name of an Italian city, I got nothin'. I love that little horn/Dublin hybrid, BTW.

Great pipe. I like the clear stem with the grain briar. I'd smoke that anywhere ... Nat Sherman's smoking lounge or at the annual pipe show, but where you work is good too.

A short-er pipe suits me better while woodworking, keeps from banging into the workpiece and jarring my teeth. But, not to short for a very hot smoke.
