Who Is The Owner Now Of 4noggins?

The person I used to deal with all the time was ‘Jeff’ but I’m not sure if he is still there. I kind of get the feeling that 4noggins has grown in size and there are several more people in the customer service department.
Anyway, any help would be much appreciated.

Speak for yourself. I'm in Canada and dealing with Jeff has been nothing but a f***ing horrorshow. To say nothing of the comments he made to me regarding Canadians and International customers. The guy is a cheat, a thief, a liar and a fraudster. My suggestion to all Canadians and International customers is to take your business elsewhere, you'll save in the long run.

Interesting thread on Reddit right now. 4noggins charged a customer's card for merchandise and shipping but never shipped the package. Tracking supported that. When the customer canceled the order after a time of no communication, Noggins initially refused to refund the shipping. The customer stated he would dispute the shipping charge with his CC company, Noggins refunded the shipping and told the customer, in an email, to F*#! off.

I've never ordered from them, but I guess I'm glad I haven't after reading this thread. Apparently their terrible product photos directly correspond to the quality of their customer service.

I have never placed an order with 4noggins because these types of horror stories have been happening for years now with no sign of improvement. It's a shame too because places to buy pipe tobacco certainly aren't going up in number so we could use all the help we can get! Until something drastic changes with 4noggins I will keep sending my business elsewhere.

We have to keep in mind as well, that usually, you only hear about the bad experiences.

I myself had a issue with P&C. It was a very pain-in-the-butt and it took a lot of my time to deal with. (mentioned on another thread here) However, it was the only transaction that went bad with them. I had 19 others that were perfectly smooth. But it would take a pretty good bargain before I risk my sanity again.

All 17 of my orders with 4NOGGINS have been good. No issues to speak of at this point.

I think most issues with 'orders-gone-bad' is communication on the side of the vendor. P&C definitely has a disconnect somewhere.

Granted, I have low standards of excellence when it comes to ordering merchandise/hobby supplies. I don't care how long it takes to get the order shipped, in transit etc, as long as they keep landing on my doorstep

I was once like you, read all the stories, but it hadn't happened to me. Then a package never came and I had to try to get a hold of someone at 4noggins. When it finally happens to you, I hope you get your money back, I haven't, and I hope they treat you with more dignity and respect than they did me and others. Again, to anyone reading this considering ordering from 4noggins, I highly recommend you take your patronage to businesses that actually appreciate your business, actually have a customer service department, and don't lie through their teeth when they owe you money.

Ordered from them once because I was desperate and everything went well. Even though my experience was fine, I’m not planning using them unless necessary as I don’t want to end up like @Pip'n'Piper or others who’ve gotten screwed.

I've ordered from 4Noggins lots of times over the past several years, basically since Smoking Pipes stopped shipping to WA state, and I've never had a problem with them. I've always received my orders without issue, and their shipping is really fast considering my package is traveling about 3000 miles. I usually get my package about 5 days after placing an order which is way better than other online retailers I've ordered from.

Hopefully they’ll find a better way to price their consignments. It’s almost like they don’t really want to sell any of it haha.
