Hello there,

Help!

This twin, cased set has just come into stock and I can't find out who the manufacture is. The two pipes are simply marked "ARP" followed by "De Lux" on the shank. There's a green dot on the top of the stem and both have loose stingers. One pipe has had little use and the other none.

So the question is "who made 'em"??

Thanks, Peter.

Given the nature of the source material used for compilation WMTP is primarily focused on UK and American models. The occurrence of French pipes in the book is largely a by-product of their incidental appearance in UK and American trade publications. In this case by incidental I generally mean French producers affiliated with a British company or standalone French manufacturers with a substantial presence in the English market.

So while WMTP is a terrific resource for pipes made in England and the States for pipes from France it’s much more hit or miss.
