Title reworded. Hope I got it right. Original:

Does Anyone Doesn't Enjoy Plum Pudding?

Maybe this is a bad tin. I just don't care too much for Plum Pudding. Been keep going back to it once in awhile hoping for miracle, but it ain't happening. So what don't I like about PP? Mainly its tongue scorching Latakia. Not sure what's with Lat in this blend. It's so strong, my tongue gets numb after smoking it. Maybe reserve and other release under this blend will have a better luck with me.

Only by way of samples from fellow forum members did I try any SPC offering. They were:

1) Plum Pudding (2011)
2) Plum Pudding Bourbon Barrel Aged (2020)
3) Mississippi River Rum Barrel Aged (2020)

Of the three, the regular Plum Pudding is the best one, in my opinion. However, I can easily rattle off a half dozen other blends of a similar ilk that I would much rather reach for instead should I find myself craving a Balkan blend. The two barrel aged blends I flat out didn't care for. In other words, I see any and all future online carts of mine to be devoid of any SPC product. Which is just as well, because I'm running out of storage space.

Final verdict: average.

I have a modest collection in my cellar. I have tasted the Plum Pudding,
Plum Pudding Bourbon Barrel Aged
Mississippi River Rum Barrel Aged I like them. It's hard not to like them, as I still like the byzantium and mississippi mud. I've tried a few more, can't remember now. Since I have thrown away some empty cans, and the full unsealed ones are in some corner, with piles of cans, covering them up. I don't regret buying this modest collection of plum pudding.

Latakia didn’t bother me a few years ago, but now, my mouth/tongue get irritated, so for the few vintage tins with Syrian I have, that once in a great while I might puff, I stay away now from anything with Latakia in it.

P.S. I didn’t care for Plum Pudding...
