I cracked open a couple of yesterdays purchases to enjoy and I was very happy to see all the sparkle Margate had. What surprised me was to see it in a pretty new tin of Westminster. But maybe it was plenty aged when they blended it. Anyhow, time to enjoy these. Happy Monday

I hope that it truly enhances you tobacco for you. I haven't found the crystals do much of anything for me. And, on quite a few blends it means that there is way less flavor.

We will see. Definitely smells good. That would suffice and hopefully no flavor is lost like you say

I had sparkly crystals on some Hungarian leaf and it burned my tongue. I don't know if that was related, but I had a thin coating of white bloom that looks like this in the original post, at least from what I can tell from those photos, on some air cured Virginia cavendish that corresponded with a really really nice smoke.

It's hard to tell something is sparkling without video. Here's that Hungarian. It eventually smoothed out after a couple years.

I got one tin that had crystals and while the blend was really good it was an aromatic and the topping wasn't missing but kind of weak. Went from tastes like to big hint of. And yeah even the tobacco its self seemed more bland.
