I’ll second @trouttimes Upshall recommendation - great pipes. I’ve only owned three, and don’t recall @cigrmaster’s experience - but have def had some bitter stems on a few other individual pipes of different makes. Keeping the oxidation off the stem surface goes a long way toward muting that effect - but I no longer want to put in the elbow grease on repeat offenders!
