The one on the left. From the photos, I think I prefer the bowl size and the way it would rest in the hand. I agree with MSO it is a tough call. My first call was the one on the right. Like others, I might have to test them to come to a determination.

What influences your decision, buttons are different, weight very close, bowl depth same 3/4 x 1 3/8, Cumberland vs ebonite ?

I will be breaking it in with Dan Tobac, Sweet Vanilla Honeydew.

The one on the right. I'm ambivalent about them, though: I like the Oom Paul more, but don't care much for the super wide whale tail bit; on the other hand, I love the stem on the right one but don't care much for the super bally shape.

They're both nice pieces, nonetheless.

I'll post another round in a couple weeks. I'm thinking canted poker vs straight pot. Could be between the bulldogs.
All these pipes are ones I've made and tried to market, but have just decided to keep all of them for myself for one reason or another.
