What are the preferences for Condor plug or flake versus Warrior plug versus St. Bruno flake? The usual suspects...taste, flavoring, strength. Much appreciated.

Difficult to accurately convey the actual tastes of Condor and St. Bruno.
A shorthand version would be this, imo,

Condor = intense flavor level, dark fruit + floral, almost menthol but not quite, incredibly full-bodied.
The cool thing is that it's available in the 3 forms, each is equally delicious.

The ready rubbed is an effortless smoke.
St. Bruno = dark fruit + musk + bergamot + slight floral, medium-full bodied.

Exquisite and unique.

I prefer the Flake to the R/R as there are noticeable differences for me.
Warrior Plug is an honest straightforward baccy,

plummy with slight spice,

full-bodied, chewy, deep.
This recent review sums it up well:

It all comes down to personal preference as with everything else.
With these it's a love/hate thing,

many smokers are repulsed by the flavors,

others embrace them with singular obsession.
For me,

Condor is the most consistent,

it never fails to deliver.

I love Warrior Plug. It has a deep sweetness, like a thick caramelized molasses, but very tobacco forward. The strength is not overwhelming, not nearly as strong as some twists that I have had. Maybe just a tad above medium, on par with the new War Horse. It is expensive to have it shipped here, but the full flavor with moderate to high nic kick, it can be an all day smoke. (Maybe not an all day smoke for people who are really very sensitive to nicotine)

Condor, I've not had the pleasure of trying.
I wish American tobacco companies would give us more plug options with these wonderful full flavors. GLP's plugs are nice, but not even close to the sweetness of some of these European plugs. I could see Sutliff, buffing up their image by giving us a few "more experienced smoker" options like plugs.

Mick McQuaid and Yachtsman plug are very enjoyable smokes. Rather dark and plummy nut flavor.

James Fox makes it too easy...

...and we don't have to pay the VAT tax.
Expensive?

Yes.
Worth it?

Hell yes!

Are there any domestic OTC plug tobaccos?
GLP JackKnife and Triple Play.

It was JKP that first turned me on to the plug form,

a great way to get acquainted with plugs.
Peterson 3P is good also,

it's made by STG and is exactly like the overseas variants except that it is less sauced, more subtle and nuanced in flavor profile.

More medium-bodied.
Is there an online vendor for St. Bruno that will ship to the U.S.?
I would suggest MrSnuff, but they are overpriced methinks.

Write to Glynn Quelch and inquire about payment methods...

I've been buying plugs from James Fox of Dublin for over a year and their service is wonderful. 5 days from order to delivery to my house in Pa. They're not cheap but what a treat for the pipe.

And getting more expensive papipeguy, after the Tuesday budget in Ireland. A 50g plug is now 1.10euro,dearer.

I didn't bother doing a currency conversion, as the euro is almost at parity with the dollar.
