Where did Brian Ruthenberg Go?

Just swung by his website- it no longer exists. Same for his Facebook. Has he retired?

Brian was having major health problems and wasn't getting out the work. He obviously has quit although he didn't send out an email announcement that I know of.

I know he had some health issues but I'm uncertain if he closed up shop. I hope all is well, he's a great guy and great carver. He uses a ShopSmith machine to do all his work...it's a pretty cool machine, I own one as well.

He might have joined forces with Rockstar, or one of the new, multi-maker platforms?

Brian made some great smoking pipes and I hope he is not quitting altogether. I have been buying his estate pipes for a while now and have 6, plus one new one which was a pipe of the year from Briar Blues. Every pipe smokes incredibly well, all are cool and dry.

ww, wow that really sucks for Mike. I hope he got a refund for the other pipes not made.

Really a shame and hope he is doing well. He has some of the most beautiful blasts out there in my opinion.
