What's your favorite VaPer?

I never realized that there was Perique in Marlin Flake. Must be a small percentage. That being said, it is now added to my list of favourite Vapers along with:
Solani 633

Escudo

Esoterica Dorchester

G.L. Haddos Delight

G.L. Telegraph Hill (this stuff really is in a league of its own)

The best VaPer ever produced was Bell's "three nuns". But SG St James Flake is my favourite that is still available today.

TAD result: Well, I've ordered up some LA Red, some Telegraph Hill, Escudo, and Fillmore. Also some Barbary Coast because I've been meaning to try it. Threw some Cairo in there because I'm almost out. Noticed many on-line shops are out of my favorite Haddo's - like there's a run on it. Next up on my list will have to be some Red Paramour and a few ofnthe others mentioned.
I can't seem to find Hal o' the wind in sample sizes (2 oz or less). Any suggestions?

I forgot to mention Reiner Long Golden Flake. Sothron, just find someone around you who wants to split a 100 gram tin. That would be me if I lived close to you but I doubt you live close to Nova Scotia he he.

ohin: good idea. Your're right, I'm a bit to the south of Nova Scotia. Sadly I don't know any other pipe smokers near me. Plenty of tobacco chewers though...

G.L. Pease Haddo's Delight and Hal O' The Wynd. I haven't smoked much of the PS LNF yet, but it was pretty good from what I recall. Until this thread, I didn't even realize that both LNF and Hal had perique in them.

not much of a virginia lover here; but my in limited experience i must say i enjoy St. James Woods--
having said that i do really really like Perique in most other blends--Old Joe Krantz has a bit of Va. in a burley base, and pretty much a ton of Nic--now that one i like a bunch--

i keep hearin' so much about this one--AND it's got Runowski's name on it--that makes it almost a certainty i'd like it--morleysson called my attention to three out of four of my favorite blends--

I have only tried two VaPers both from H&H one was AJ's VaPers the other I forget the name of. I have both sitting in jars and waiting for my tastes to change, but for now I am staying away from VaPers, was not impressed :/

I just picked up a tin of Esoterica Dunbar that has been sitting at the B&M for months. I have only had one bowl and I think it could have been a little better with a little more drying time ( I set it out for about 20 minutes), but I think I may like this more than Escudo. I know sacrilege, but for me Dunbar has so much more flavor. I usually don't chime in on a blend until I have had at least half a tin so this has definitely made an impression.

Tried the LA Red. Soooooooooooooo worth it! It's apples and oranges from Escudo, but I'd go as far as to say it belongs in every cellar. I don't know how much is Perique, but it's got plenty!
