Had lunch today with a friend who does some woodworking, and I'd love to see him get started on pipes. Anyway, the other day he ran into an issue that he thought he could use some help with, as it involved a particular wood that he'd never worked with before, so thought he would ask for some online help. He put his question out there, and within minutes got about four million hits. Then he took a closer look at some of the responses and nearly passed out. His query? "Drilling Ebony." He has temporarily closed down his website.

Most boys learn how to work with their wood at about 11 or 12. What's taken this guy so long?

Don't you hate it when in the middle you need to splice the film back together? I heard this somewhere.
