Last evening my wife had to run to the store for a bit. So instead of watching a show with the kids I asked them if they wanted to listen to a record. My 2 year old son said 'dance dance' so he wanted to dance, and my 4 year old daughter wanted to as well. I asked what they wanted to hear, not expecting an answer, my son says 'Steely Dan'. I couldn't believe it. Pardon? I asked. Steely Dan Steely Dan he says. I was dumbstruck. 'I like Steely Dan' my daughter says from across the room.
I've got the only toddlers in the world who like Steely Dan.

I was feelin' Folkie, and put The Modern Folk Quartet on the turntable. This is from their debut album, and I'm sorry, this may get stuck in your head, but it's a fun tune, "Sassafras"

Ok...so if I'm understanding this (and I'm not sure I am) apparently it's not a parody (or is it?)...and this is Weezer and Weird Al Yankovic, together, covering Toto's Africa.
The world becomes a little more incomprehensible every day.
