This is Baby Huey and the Babysitters, a group my friends and I hired for some dances we sponsored, back in the day. A Chicagoland legend, who only had one album, which was released after Huey's untimely death, in 1970. This rare early single, that preceded the album is "Beg Me." I posted a song from the Curtom album The Baby Huey Story: The Living Legend on this thread quite a while ago. Check out the album for an incredible version of Sam Cooke's "A Change Is Gonna Come"

Cam't get Spotify to work for me anymore. So, went to a new to me source for my bluegrass fix, worldwidebluegrass.com. Some mighty fine tunes there.

Here's a version of "Won't Get Fooled Again" that will bring a smile to your face: The Who, Jimmy Fallon and The Roots, on classroom instruments. Can you guess the fate of the Uke?

Listened to the most sublime cello works composed by anyone with my morning joe and pipe, Faure's works for cello and piano, on Youtube music, my new Spotify alternative.

Loudon Wainwright, General Fuzz, Keller Williams, Old Crow Medicine Show, Trampled by Turtles, Tycho, and as always, some good old fashioned Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

It being a relatively quiet Friday at work, a little Jimmy Buffett in the background for me. Running through Off To See the Lizard first, then probably Hot Water.
