Tom Waits: The Early Years, Volume 1 & Volume 2
I remember when I first started buying his albums, these looked like a waste because they were mostly songs available on other releases. How wrong I was! Alternate takes from real early in Tom's history, otherwise unreleased songs, just a whole bunch of awesome. Pair these with the bootleg recordint I have of a radio appearance from the early-mid '70s... Fantastic listening.
