Hello, all!!
I've recently gotten back into piping after a lengthy absence (about 20 years!?), and to celebrate my return, I picked up an estate pipe on theBay.
It was listed as being made by Design Berlin, but I'm not so sure-- the only marking is a slightly-doubled stamp on the underside of the stummel by the stem that looks to be two crescent moons in a square.
Nice little pipe, though. Not a lot of figuring, but enough flame on the sides and birdseye on the top and bottom to see that it's a well-chosen bit of briar.
Anyone recognize this mark? I can't find info on it anywhere.
Thanks!!

Here's s couple extra shots of it.
I'd call it an author or a diplomat, but with a narrower bowl and an oval stem. The stem also has some pretty unique geometry, too, which makes it appear to have a greater degree of bend.

Please put your location in your Profile as people are forgetful.
Why:
That will save questions in the future as to where you live when you later mention local stores, weather, tobacco prices, availability, regulations, location of photos, wildfires, air quality, etc. In many instances that saves time for those who read your posts.
How:
Under your avatar, (top right, left most of three symbols) you choose "Account Details", which brings up "My Account". "My Location" is halfway down. Whatever you're comfortable with- town, city, county, state. Just country if you must.
