I usually tend to be an raging optimist....
Today, my father was put into hospice- end stage Alzheimer's
I have two businesses- one of which is yacht financing. I found out tonight on the way home after a 14 hour day that my good friend and the owner of our very small company died after a 20 mile bike ride this morning....
Time for a drink....

It helped me a lot to spend time with my dad at the end, even when he no longer seemed conscious. He was almost a show-off to hospice and family at how gradually he departed, but I felt lucky to be there at the end. Then we sat around with him for a while before we called anyone -- medical for death cert. and funeral home. Take care of yourself, Zack. It isn't easy. I like to say, what is true, that Dad died at 89 licensed to drive ... without glasses.

That's terrible Zack, life can really throw some curve balls at us sometimes. I can imagine how bad you feel, but rest assured, things will work out in time and better days will be ahead! Hang in there!

That's brutal. Good luck, Zack. Can any of us help in any way? Is there an address to mail emergency tobacco to?
