Yep, that's one gorgeous tobacco pouch!

Personally, I keep tobacco in ziplock baggies even when in a leather pouch. I hate that it detracts from the old school feel of using a leather pouch, but it keeps the tobacco from sticking to the leather, and keeps it from drying out. YMMV.

^^^^^ This

Keeping the tobacco in a ziplock baggie will keep the tobacco fresh for a few weeks in the pouch
Also using ziplock baggies mean you can carry 2 or 3 different blends

They will fit an entire 2 oz tin or pouch of tobacco. I dump a whole brand new pouch in it. Like @SBC says, the tobacco will dry out a little faster, and that's why I like it.

I like the way you think, might have to consider using one - starting to find newly opened tins etc take weeks to get to my liking and I repeatedly air out tobacco until it hits my preferred 'zone'
