Got a tub of this type of Velvet along with tubs of the regular. They were listed as from 1971. Can't find out anything out about this blend.

Velvet is an old codger burley blend. I may have smoked it in the late 1970's as I was going through all of the "drug store" blends at the time. Nothing remarkable about it.

Tin description makes it close to Prince Albert, which contains Piedmont Brights (Va), Burley, and Turkish. Also similar to Camel's ingredients.

Looks like I have stumped the collective on this one. Must be the last tub of it in existence. Also, maybe just a very limited run of it back in its day. So, will now ask does anyone have an idea where I can find out about it? Maybe I can find someone going to one of the pipe shows to snag the pictures I posted and ask around at it.
