I am pretty curious about trying out Mapacho(Rustica) but after scouring the internets, I've found no constructive review about what it's smoking qualities are.

Can anybody clear things up a bit?

It's very flavorful and fairly strong. As to actually how to describe the flavor to you I have no idea.
I think there are a lot of different "Mapachos" out there. Mapacho is another word for Rustica but I've seen several videos from South America where "Tobacum" can clearly be seen growing in the fields. I suspect there are a lot of entrepreneurs that are using whatever tobacco they can get their hands on and making "Mapacho" out of it.

It's a very strong leaf that has a natural, vegetative, floral taste to it. It sort of reminds me of a strong brown twist, but that's not quite it.
It's difficult to describe because there aren't a lot of other tobacco leaves to which one can easily compare it.
