Hi all,
I scored a collection of old pipes to restore, among them a bowl without stem. Oval shank Billiard/Canadian type
It is stamped
DUNHILL SHELL / MADE IN ENGLAND16 and has the shape number 339 . No group stamp (which seems fine, as it says in the dating guide they were dropped in 1976 when my alleged Shell was made).
But in the Dunhill shapes list there is no mentioning of Shape 339. So in order to find out if my pipe is legit and to know how the stem looks like to get a replacement I'm asking if anyone has a catalogue image (or even an actual pipe) of this shape.
Thanks!
