Like the title says, what tobac goes into your biggest pipe chamber/bowl. I just got an mm freehand and it is my biggest bowl by far. I am wondering what yall put in your huge bowls. Any particular blends or cut styles, or do you just go for it?

GH Dark Birdseye as its a shag cut and burns a little quickly
For me its hard to imagine putting anything other than a shag cut English blend into a Magnum bowl.
Newminster 400 Superior Navy Flake works for me.

Really, whatever I want. Whatever I'm feeling for a long smoke.
Since my pipes are just about all the same size I smoke whatever I want.
This right here. The Castello “G” and the MM General are for when I have the time and situation to slowly enjoy a 90-100 minute smoke. Generally then, it’ll be one of my favorite Va/VaPer/VaOr blends such as Fillmore or Bijou. Broken flake burns great in a big bowl.
I have a little selection of maybe group 5 and 6 pipes which are mainly used for rather dry burley blends like OJK or Semois. Those blends are fast burning and therefore preferably consumed in a larger chamber.
English and Aromatics.
Mostly English blends because you have a better chance of combining all the elements when you've got a wider chamber.
Aromatics are just cheap and easy to smoke so I like to fill a large bowl just to show off.

I don't keep a log, but I'd say mostly English blends like 965 and similar medium blends, or burley blends of various kinds. A big chamber usually denotes a longer smoke, so i might not choose the stronger English blends like Bayou Night or Tuggle Hall. Virginia blends usually go in medium bowls, to suit their more delicate natures.
I came here to post this too. I enjoy whatever blend is open and sounds good in any size bowl I have.

You may run into this issue with many pipes. MM cobs have a wide open airway that many makers don't live up to.
