How was it?

Jacobs Ladder is more my jam from Southern Draw, but RoS is solid. It's an easy cigar to like, whether someone loves or not depends on how you feel about the Connecticut/sweet x Nicaraguan/earth flavor mash-up. White pepper/musty oak/peanuts is the taste, with a sweet retrohale from the Connecticut leaf.

I think smokers who come from the 'lighter' side of the spectrum may like RoS more for bringing deeper flavors to the party with their familiar Connecticut tones....folks who really love the heavy earth/pepper bomb side of the world may be a little less dazzled. I find Southern Draw is almost always top-quality in leaf and draw-construction, so one of the brands you rarely feel cheated giving a stick or two a try.
