What Did You Smoke Today? Cigars.

Ave Maria Reconquista 7x54. Bought a 5 pk, and smoked the first one tonight. The coffin is super cool with a flap to push the cigar up when opened. I did not get much taste though. I wore a decent amount of ash, since the ash was very flakey. I will probably pass the rest of the cigars out to my friends with a bib.

Rocky Patel Edge Habano Torpedo. Again, I found myself really enjoying this cigar. I'll probably get clowned for saying this, but there is an element that reminds me of an Opus X. That semi-sweet and fairly intense nuttiness. Plasencia did Rocky a real solid making this cigar at this price point!

Sounds like a wonderful combo. I really wish the larger Trinidades delivered as much flavor as the Reyes do. They gotta be one of the absolute best small cigars in the world!

Stared yesterday with an La Aroma De Cuba Rothschild. Solid smoke and I always get this unusual dark red cherry thing happening in the background, really enjoyable. Then last night I smoked a Tatuaje Skinny Mummy. Started out weird, just a blast of red pepper a vegetal taste, and a long bitter finish. HOWEVER, once the first third was ending it transformed into a delicious sweet, creamy, chalky, cocoa, woody, coffee bean. I will be buying more of them.

Last night was a My Father Le Bijou Churchill. Lasted about an hour and a half! Perfect burn, delicious, rich, dark flavors the whole way. Was kind of a powerhouse towards the end.

First time with an Alec Bradley Prensado. Still in the first third, but I swear I'm getting a balsamic vinegar towards the back end. I could use more flavor however. We'll see if it picks up.

Today has been tough, our new kitten is sick and spending the day at the vet to get some tests done. This cigar is a welcome distraction.
