Having an Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur I, English Claro Presidente, 7.2" x 54 on the porch. It’s 71⁰ F out and sunny. The electrician came around 8:00 am to replace a faulty breaker that prevented us from passing the county inspection last week. The inspector just checked the new breaker and will submit the work order. I’m relieved the inspection is done!

Wasabi was not happy with the electrician being in the house and was growling the whole time. He was cranky!

Some might say the bright light exposees all the imperfections, but I think these wrappers look nice

From yesterday, LFD Carajo, not on the re-buy list, and the last Peruvita, definitely on the re-buy list

A year of box time was kind to these El Borracho Broadleaf from Dapper

Fratello Sorella Toro. Bought a sampler from Smoking Pipes after enjoying the Árlequin and remembering the original from back in the day. This is a nice, easy smoke, with a nice touch of sweetness, and a hint of pepper in the first 3rd. 5 pack worthy. Made by Joya de Nicaragua for Fratello. The sampler is 5 toros for $40, so not a bad deal at all of the rest are good.

I always like the daytime, natural light photos, because they might show imperfections, but they also show the natural oils, and give a more accurate view of the wrapper color. As for the Fuente, well, Cameroon wrappers never look that nice 🤣. They can taste wonderful though
