I bought a box of El Borracho online. They threw in a 4-pack sampler, which I appreciated. A few of the samples were Afu, which I didn't appreciate. I finally got around to gluing this, and she's smoking wonderfully

Well it's obviously not worth the price point. The burn was the worst I've ever seen from Davidoff. The flavors were good, it reminded me of a Monte #2 with less barnyard and more sweetness. I wouldn't recommend as a splurge, instead go with a 5 pack sampler of Atabey. It was a 3 hour smoke though.

I’ve worked too late on home improvement, and church comes early, so I’m skipping the full size AF and going with a Cubanito.
I bought a tin in Feb and all year they have been extremely tight and mostly flavorless. Then a few weeks ago I read an article over at Holt’s, which specifically said that AF Cubanitos would absorb a lot of moisture in a humidor. I took a few out for about 2 weeks, and that apparently did the trick: this one has that familiar Gran Reserva aroma and flavor. Unfortunately, it’s shorter than I would prefer after a busy week, but it’s much better than nothing!

How's everyone doing? It's been a minute. Just getting over my first case of Covid, and enjoying a MF Jaime Garcia Successor Sumatra. So far, it's excellent.
The Exquisitos are also a really nice petit panatela size that gives you a bit more smoking time than the Cubanitos. Pretty good value for the price too, so you don't feel torn up if you put them out early after 20-30 instead of nubbing them.
I have a few bear videos too! This place is crazy, in the best way.
