Not a bad cigar - had an interesting, shifting profile, but a couple things were counting against my full enjoyment of the cigar, namely the big pepper notes, the bigger 54ish RG, and the gritty earth from the Mexican leaf. I wouldn't buy again, but am grateful to have tried this gifted stick.

Found my box of H.Upmann Mag 48’s this morning and decided to light one up with my smoking companion. Started a little flat but the flavors really opened up after the first inch. These were great when I got them in 2009 and have gotten better. With the price of Cuban cigars now, I’m hesitant to smoke a lot of my old Cubans.
