I presented this question in the What Are You Smoking thread, and it probably should have gone here instead. This old Comoy's has an interesting crest on the silver band, and I can't find any info about it. Google Lens suggests it's from 1917, I have seen other info suggesting 1950s.

Silver Hallmarks with a date letter is the best way to date a pipe with any accuracy
Unfortunately I don’t see any - pipes made for export are not required to be hallmarked.

A COM will place it within a time-frame which is the next best
