For those that remember my depressing news from back in June, I've now got a job lined up for the day my layoff is finalized in October with my current job! Our house goes on the market 10/5 and we've bought a nice home that was built in '74 with about 7a of land. It's still in West TN but needs darn near a full gut and reno inside.

Positive things here are as follows:
- I'll be ~15min from my new job (which requires no major travel).
- New employer is on their 5th generation of family ownership and things like "you're not allowed to miss your kids games" or "you're entitled to a schedule that allowes you to attend church" being said at the interview make me feel great about the job.
- We're moving in with my sister-in-law while we renovate so no major headache or living expenses for a bit.
- Though I'm taking a significant pay cut, if we get what we're asking and keep the renovation on budget, we should be debt-free when all is said and done.
- We'll be a stone's throw away from my in-laws (who are amazing) so the kiddos stay close to their grands.
- This house has a small basement that my wife has assigned as my lounge so I won't be out on a comfortable place to smoke next summer/winter.

God is good, all the time! Even though the stress this summer has been heavy on our family, things are falling into line and it feels wonderful!
Great news!

Did a set of walking reps a little quicker than usual, and have passed the last quarter of this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. Harry the Hairy stood driveway guard while Tomato the Brave walked three houses worth with me. When I finished my last lap, Harry started coming toward me when he saw Tomato right behind me, and he ran to the deck. Daisy the Feral Princess stayed on the lounge. Back to the ball game now.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Jamaica Blue Mountain Dark Roast, neat, is my drink. Molly Danger came to the den, looked around to see if any ferals were around, and when she realized none were, she went to the kitchen to nibble a mite. After that, she batted a ball in the cat carousel around, then sniffed a catnip sock, and has split her time coming to me for attention and going in the cardboard box. Looks like she wants me to play with her, but the two times I tried, Molly walked away, and then came back. She can be a hard one to figure out at times. She's standing on the table in front of me now.

I've been able to keep the bowl lit like an Olympic torch today, just one after another. Smoked a second bowl of Bourbon Bleu. And now I got it packed with Riverboat Gambler. Ive made the switch to sweet tea. The day has been absolutely beautiful. Been craving a Cigar, hadnt had one in a minute, but my days coming, next week I'm going wild at the Cigar store. Going to fill up my Jar, and maybe buy another Jar and fill it up too with all my favorite sticks. Then try not to smoke them all at once.

C & D Carolina Red Flake with Perique from maybe 2020. I can't remember. I didn't write the year on the jar for some reason. All the hoopla about it being released again this year led me to revisit it. I've got it in a no name French billiard and while it's better than I remember it being, it's really settling in that except for Rouxgaroux and the occasional bowl of LNF, I'm not a vaper guy.
