Relaxing after a wonderful salad, cod and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm almost half way through this bowl of year 2021 Watch City Queequeg’s Moby Dick Series in a medium bend black sandblasted IPSD 2016 Mark Tinsky book keeper 5 with a square shank and a black acrylic saddle stem with a cream colored accent. The shape was designed by my great friend, the late Art Arterburn, and gifted to me by him. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Watching the Orioles-Yankees game. Daisy the Feral Princess was looking at me for a few minutes when I started to type this smoke. She got tired of waiting and came over to stand on my feet. I got the message. When I was scratching her head, she daintily put her left paw in the air and had big smile. After a few minutes of that and some back scratching, she wanted out. The others are out. Everybody else is snoozin'.

First pipe after several months without smell. Smoking with a Cobbler MM and mb# Virginia flake. It's fantastic, I can appreciate some nuances, baked bread, some nuts, a little citrus, hay. I imagine my sense of smell isn't 100%, maybe 60%, but it seems to have improved quite a bit. I can't believe I'm smoking and enjoying it like today. I thank God. God bless you guys.View attachment 417945

last one before bed, GH&Co Black Twist (sliced) in the 7409B Thorn.
Glad I packed a pocket jar of this blend at the last minute, but if you seal a pocket jar up tight and fly with it in checked baggage, expect a strong vacuum seal! I had to “pop” it with a Czech tool tamper just like a new tin-it would not budge with a hand twist, and it popped as much as any tin I’ve had.

“Sir, there is just no way I am going to believe this is for personal use”
“No, no, I’m just trying to re-seal some of the leaky ones, look, I can expl-“

Capstan Blue in this Don Carlos. Diet Dr. Pepper. Beautiful out this evening! Listening to the Brewers and the Angels on radio. Takes me back to late summer nights on the porch with my dad. He loved to listen to Braves Radio. My mom would bring us whatever she had baked. Coffee for my dad. Milk for me. Good memories of good times.
There’s nothing like baseball on the radio! Used to listen to the Braves with my dad back in the 70s, since we didn’t have cable for the Superstation broadcasts.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and have passed the half way mark of this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem.
