Murray's era Dunhill Durbar in a pipe called a flower by its carver Minoru Nagata...

I love this pipe with it's simplicity of drilling but complexity of carving. It even looks like 2 pieces of briar glued together but it's a single piece.

Ahh I just recently saw that one for sale, so there it is now LOL ?

I’ve been starting at Nagata’s pipes for several months to buy one.

I really love the looks of his pipes, especially the Kiseru and Winter Flower.

He does really make some nice lookers, that’s for sure! ?

There were a couple of his pipes available at Tobacco Pipes Japan also.

I couldn't be happier with the pipe. His work is exquisite. I may end up with one of his mortas if the right one presents itself.

Last smoke of the day is Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a smooth straight brown circa WW2 Trapwell mountain laurel patent apple with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite stem. Busy deciding what pipes to match to a couple of tobaccos. Watching the Dodgers-Giants game which I DVR'd.
