I almost pull the trigger on that one too but 50 usd for a cob its overkill?
I would have liked it to be $10-15 less, but I‘d had a couple drinks and said to myself, “I don’t actually have any nice cobs”... that being said is really well made and smokes great. I’m stIll up in the air on the cost. We’ll see if I kick myself, although I haven’t yet.

Late afternoon impromtu throwdown - had two pipes waiting to be cleaned and leftover tobacco just sitting there, so ... Savinelli Brunello Flake versus Peterson Royal Yacht. Neither pipe brings out the best in either blend so it was even in that regard. Both tobaccos blends are lovely smokes and while I couldn't determine a winner strictly based on taste, I did notice that I found my myself forgetting I was even testing and just happily drifting along while reading a book with ... Royal Yacht.
