Back from a week traveling to a chess tournament with the kiddo ( TX -> NC and back). It was early May when I left, but now that I'm back it feels like late August. Summer has come on early and with a heavy hand to central Texas, y'all.
After a week of no smoking, I'm enjoying some GLP Westminster in a Dunhill Group 1 Liverpool. Absence, as they say, makes the heart grow fonder.
Car did well, son did well, but it's surely good to be back. I drove through the night on the return trip (1200 miles, straight shot) and the ol' body doesn't handle that sort of thing as well as it once did. Groan ... still recovering.
