A third of the way through this bowl of Rivertown Tobacco Works Crimson Shadow in a 1976 black rough carved Pioneer Meerschaum Hungarian with a pearl brown acrylic saddle stem. Working on a review of this blend.

I've always liked sandblasted black pipes ... (hence, my avatar). Seeing lots of sandblasted black pipes in this March WAYS.
Got my Peterson 309 System Std - the black sandblasted one (Donegal Rocky) - loaded with Robt McConnell Scottish Flake ... well dried to crispy ... thanks to Pipe Club brother Ted, sample was enough for 2 bowls. Very nice tobacco. Makes me tempted to open my older rectangular tin from around '05.

Low Country Atalaya in a Savinelli 602 today in the kayak. Brought home a flounder for dinner. Will probably keep working my way through this tin and maybe compare it to Orion’s Arrow bulk (Same components) and Oriental Silk just for fun.

Still working on the Sweated. About four and a half hours and 2/3 of the bowl in.

Near the last quarter of this bowl of Rivertown Tobacco Works Custard Conspiracy in a 1975 medium bend sandblasted looking, smooth on the sides yellow Pioneer meer billiard with a black ferrule and vulcanite stem in the military mount style. This is an easy review to write.
