I dug through the 3rd box down in the cellar for this tin of C&D Opening Night to see if I could peek my interest enough to order the XX blends. It had been a couple years since I smoked this blend. This tin is from 2016 and it was a pretty good smoke tonight with only 10 minutes dry time. My current rotation is Salty Dogs, Cabbies Mixture and 40th Anniversary. Opening Night will fit right in. Used an old reg'd # Castello 67 SB Sea Rock.

Just finished smoking MacBaren Burley London Blend in a three quarter bend 1983 Jobey Danski 2 straight grain freehand rough top sitter with a pearl amber acrylic stem.

Part way through this bowl of Ken Byron Ventures Experimental Void Ration Plug in a small slight bend black sandblast 2000 D.R. Ardor Urano Ninfea Fatta A Mano author with a silver spigot military bit and a tapered black acrylic stem. Watching Cannon.
About a third of the way through this bowl of Wilke #515 in a 1998 smooth straight Butz-Choquin Bistro 1501 pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem.

Since I’m tasteblind I was able to smoke MacBaren Club Blend from my Don Regular (Bari) Sandblast apple without getting bit.

Morning Chaps! Just getting my day started since I have been up since 4.30. Got to run to the Post Office to get some mail off to people, government agencies etc. It's a beautiful 73 degree morning in Lutz and I am on the 2nd cup of coffee and prepping a bowl of Mick McQuaid Plug to be smoked in a meerschaum 'cutty' pipe. Since I only have a couple of pipes with me you have to guess which one it is. Maybe there is a prize in it!
Starting my morning right with a shot of Chelsea Morning in the no name basket briar, and some great coffee.
