When I used to play I always wanted a Firebird but I had a Tele and a Les Paul, along with several other guitars, and as such could never justify dropping the money on one. But I think they’re gorgeous. I say don’t sell lol
I hear you brother, I still have my 59 reissue Warren Haynes Paul, and my deluxe reverb amp. So I’m not empty handed when something comes up. The Bird was my backup. Have a great day !

I was still hungry, so m'lady made me a two egg, ham and cheese open face sandwich. I'm smoking year 2018 D&R Windsail in a 2018 full bend smooth natural Peterson Sherlock Holmes Lestrade with a silver band and a black vulcanite saddle p-lip stem. Age definitely benefits this blend, and I noticed some of the Virginia in this batch has turned red. Never seen that before. Getting ready to clean a few pipes as I watch the ball game.

Three times in the last ten minutes, Daisy the Feral Princess wanted to go outside. Each time she did, the hard rain scared her and she ran back inside. You'd think the goofball would have figured it out after the first time. She's laying by my feet now.

Near the half way mark of this bowl of KBV Jupiter Slices 7.1 in a post-1938 Pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 bulldog with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Nigel Bruce smoked this model in two Sherlock Holmes movies. Please consider asking Shane Ireland at Smoking Pipes and Peterson to bring the pipe back into production.

Been busy cleaning a few pipes, and a couple needed a little extra. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Daisy the Feral Princess is still snoozin' by my feet. The others are snoozin', too. Dunno where Tomato the Brave is, but I'm sure he's out of the rain.

The heat and humidity came back to North Louisiana. But with the DeWalt fan blowing on me it's comfortable on the front porch. I made this pipe years ago. I did the rustication but it languished in my drawer for a long time with no finish. Yesterday I ground a flat on the bottom to make it a sitter, and rubbed it with mineral oil. I also took my pipe drill bits and drilled it out to 1 inch diameter (it was 3/4) and it is about one and a half inches deep. A huge Bowl, perfect for an afternoon with a little Early Morning Pipe.

Smoked a 50/50 mix of Bayou Morning & Crooner. Tasted great. I was a little worried cause I didn't really care for Crooner by itself, mixed with BM, it was all delicious. Smoked it in this Lorenzetti Julius Caesar 03. Drinking sweet tea. Heavy Rain just came through and I want to smoke one more before I call it a day. Don't know if I'll get it done though, dang mosquitoes be really bad this time of day lately.
