In a moment of weakness, I am trying Greg Pease's "Horizon" which is the new English blend that was introduced to the market just 3-4 weeks ago. My first attempt was opening the tin, smelling the tobacco (Heaven!!), and trying to light it. That wasn't much help as it was definitely wet. So, I set it aside for three freaking hours and tested it and it was still wet. I had to set it aside again and waited another two hours before I tried again. Finally, it lit and burned fairly well at that point. Score one for the perseverance. I'm in KC where the weather today was 84 degrees with 50% humidity.
When lit it delivered a cool smoke without any tongue bite. It rated a solid medium in both flavor and strength. And the flavor was quite appealing. My one taste bud said it was good stuff. So, this is a recommendation of the tobacco but check it for moisture.
