Starting off my smoking day early with a bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. It's been raining hard all morning, so I'm staying inside today. This kind of rain generally keeps the ferals away, except for Daisy the Feral Princess who slept the night away in my studio. Right now, she's enjoying a snooze by my feet. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Inspired by posts of @KORNEY from time to time, I decided a few months ago to look into a Miscoi. This one was finished on Christmas Day and arrived this week. Asked for his take on a GBD 9438 I saw ion his IG. Really like the mammoth tusk accent and enjoying it as I type with a mellow blend that seemed appropriate. Smokes like an absolute dream. Coincidentally, it looks like @PaulRVA must have commissioned one immediately before I did. Put up more in a thread - didn’t want to clog up the scroll, lol.

Morning all! Pressed 50/50 Storm Front / Yorktown in a friend-made custom lovat, with coffee.
Good Saturday morning all. Didn't have to get up way too early because no Premier League footie. Starting the smoking day with Hamborger Veermaster in a cob.
So I've never heard of Storm Front, just checked it out. That sounds interesting. I've never dealt with 4noggins before.
I've been talking to Dimitry too - just mailed a broken pipe (my old KB&B Rocky Briar Hungarian) to him so he can make a new, updated version for me.
Really like his style and I think he's the right guy to take on this particular project.
And yeah, he has a terrific selection of mammoth tusk on hand.

It's very tasty on it's own. Last month I played with putting some Va in it and worked nicely for me. Next press may go 2:1 SF/Yorktown.
