I had some SV Black Cavendish still in my Rory cob from Sunday night so I topped it off with some scraps of Amphora Burley that I had in my tobacco dish. This little cob is a great smoker, and the tobacco combo was quite nice.

Sutliff Mixture #999 (Nine Mixture) in a Stanwell Dublin. Much better smoke than Dark Obsession. This blend actually has some character.

The rain stopped, and I managed to get in a set of walking reps on this gloomy gray day with a bowl of the last of this tub of year 2016 D&R Two Timer Gold in a 1982 smooth straight Sasieni Ivory 105 Apple with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Going to switch to a different blend for my second sets after this.

A third of a bowl left of SWRA in a straight, black sandblasted undated Comoy’s Sunrise Etched Grain straight apple 551 with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Been matching meers to KBV blends that I will be reviewing.

I’ve got off today, so I’m staying up for another smoke. Going to have Peter Stokkebye PS41 Cube Cut in the very recently discontinued Missouri Meerschaum The Ryker [sic] Corn Cob (I actually snagged the last two in the Missouri Meerschaum Museum—one for me, another for a buddy). I was told this unofficial Star Trek: The Next Generation tribute pipe may return in the future, but, for now, they’re making room for new models.
