A third of the way through this bowl of Watch City Simply VOriental in a straight smooth medium brown 1930s Wilshire 5 bulldog (Comoy’s second) made for John’s Pipe Shop in Los Angeles with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.
Finished a bowl of Voriental just before a late dinner. It was great. Now having a bowl of Mac Baen Va flake.
EGR in a Savinelli 320 KS. Tried this blend for the first time several months ago and really didn’t care for it. Went back a few months later and had the same reaction. Decided to hold on to it and went back again yesterday. Not sure what changed (whether the tobacco, my palate, or both?), but I’m thoroughly enjoying it.

Today I smoked Capstan Blue, Cockstrong, and Gawith Balkan Mixture. My goodnight smoke is a second bowl of Cockstrong.
Just finished smoking Low Country Pipe & Cigar Natural Virginia & Burley in a 2020 straight black sandblasted Merchant Service “Bing” Standard with a nickel band and black vulcanite tapered stem.
Now smoking Wilke No. 72 in a pre-1974 dark brown straight Larus & Brother Co. Signature billiard with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem with the initials LCR on the top of the stem. This blend was smoked by Walter Cronkite. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Listening to Burns and Allen on the XM as I work.
While spending a couple of hours with my Saturday ZOOM buddies, I smoked my new Peterson 2021 POTY Heritage Brown 4AB (49/500), filled with Wilke No. 515. A mug of Barrie House Breakfast Ritual coffee went nicely with the smoke and the chat.
Morning all starting off with a bowl of Dunhill EMP in a Peterson St Patrick’s Day Xl02, before the wonderful job of stripping off wallpaper in one of the bedrooms.

My friend and I went to Cigars International today (well, I guess yesterday, now) and he bought a tin of Cockstrong. First time I had ever seen it. We had a chuckle over the name.
