GH Island Mixture in a Falcon golf ball meer. About halfway through the tin of this occasional smoke, the flavours are holding up really well and the tobacco is revealing itself more. Nice change of pace.

Officially starting off my smoking day with a bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Gave up on the idea of sleep for a while. Watching The Adventures of Superman on HBI. If I wasn't so lazy, I'd grab my DVD set, and watch the shows uncut. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

All the ferals are in, and are mostly behaving. The exception is the over active Tomato the Brave, who has attacked two carpets, my left foot, a table leg, and then jumped up to grab my left hand. Daisy the Feral Princess suggested a white coat and a padded room for the boy.

First smoke of the month, GLP Cumberland in a Peterson. Watching some snowflakes fall and putting off my Sunday chores.

Just had a bowl of Peterson's Irish Flake in the fatarsed Jambo African Meer. I am continually surprised at the difference a pipe can make to the experience of smoking a tobacco... the pipe has a broad airway which I find dissipates the smoke, making it cooler but less flavoursome and complex. 7/10, a disappointment for my favourite flake. Consoling myself with a glass of Erdinger Oktoberfestbier. A blessed Candlemas to those who celebrate.

PS402 with 3 years of age now. 125th anniversary 8s dressed in black and ready for the soup and fish treatment. For the record this small pipe will only fit one flake. I really like the small systems. I wish Peterson would permanently switch to the b stem profile for the deluxe line. At the least offer them as an alternative.
