Close to finishing this bowl of Watch City Simply VOriental in a straight smooth medium brown 1930s Wilshire 5 bulldog (Comoy’s second) made for John’s Pipe Shop in Los Angeles with a black vulcanite saddle stem.
Did some snacking, and am smoking Wilke Hearth of Galway in an undated smooth straight medium brown made in France Saillard Lord Clerit lumberman with a black vulcanite saddle stem.
Just finished work, and this bowl of Watch City Queequeg’s Moby Dick Series in a slight bend smooth brown post WWII 1940s Sasieni Ivory 101 Westminster diplomat with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Time for a golden delicious apple!
A third of the way through this bowl of Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This was the blend Basil Rathbone smoked. I'll hopefully end the day with this smoke.
Today’s smoke - Pembrook in an HCA on the rooftop with this. I had asked for a White Russian yesterday from the Bar man. It caused a remarkable stir and nearly ended with three bar men and their manager in a fight as they discussed if it were possible to make the drink - a drink that was off menu. This morning, I was met by the nicer bar man. They had resolved the issue when the feisty bar man ended his shift and decided to go back to Spain. So what began with a joke, “Where can I get a White Russian “ wink, wink, gave me this. And still I smoke, knowing full well the day has only begun in n Marrakech.
Good afternoon All
