Haven't smoked in two goddamn weeks! My family is battling another virus. My daughter's cousin came over after thanksgiving and gave her a nice kiss (apparently she thinks kissing means swallowing an entire face). My daughter then proceeded to cough those daycare germs right down my throat.

Thankfully, I think tomorrow I might finally be over it, and I will test out something from my Esterval's order (maybe St. Bernard Flake?) in either my new Moretti Morta, or a barely smoked Mark Tinsky 6 two star fat assed author with spalted tamarind stem accent I picked up for $80 on the bay.

Had a bowl of newminster round slices in a small Big Ben. No matter what I do this blend just doesn't smoke right to me.

Currently enjoying Sutliff Edgeworth ready rubbed match in a Peterson premier system pipe. I love this pipe and I am really enjoying this blend. I find it much better than the lane match version. 13848

Fantastic, thanks for that. There isn’t a lot of info on the blend or at least not a lot of experiences I heard about.
There's two of the PCCA blends jarred at my work, I think the other is New world. Ill try to take some notes on the next bowl of it Im given, maybe I'll put something on tobacco reviews. Each one only has one review. That really is special stuff, i am very blessed.
I'll make sure to ask for more info on the blend too

Very interested in the review! Also, would the 904 qualify as a yachtsman?
Review posted. Yes, in my mind the Savinelli 904 is definitely a yachtsman but they call it a "bent dublin". The chamber is a conical dublin shape so I guess that's why. One of my favorite pipes at any rate, I think it has some serious character!
The Savinelli 904, 914, 9004, and the GBD 9613 are indeed the yachtsman shape.

I love that shape and your collection is beautiful. I feel the difference between Yacht and Zulu is obvious enough (sometimes) but where does a Woodstock fall in relation to these shapes?
The Woodstock is another name for a zulu. Cylindrical chamber and a bowl with a forward cant. The yachtsman has a conical chamber with a forward swept bowl without the cant. The yachtsman bowl is vertical while appearing to lean forward yet doesn't. It gives the yachtsman the appearance of forward movement.
