Jim, as to the box scores from last night..... I know that you and @PaulRVA are big fans of baseball. I am sure that by now you have seen the triple-play that the Angels pulled on the Dodgers last night. It happened so quickly, it was hard to follow. What timing, discipline, reflexes and a bit of luck.........

I did see it. I've seen a couple of triple plays in person, once when I played semi-pro. I was in left field when the ball was hit to the third baseman, and it got us out a big jam. We wouldn't have won the game otherwise.

I understand and support your Braves as well however for me Geographically the Mets are closer to me in Richmond than Atlanta. After we lost the Richmond Braves my following went on a downward slope. I would’ve been just as happy had the Braves pulled it off though but as far as the Mets I really like Lindor as a player.

Now smoking year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a 1980s straight smooth Big Ben pot with a nickel band and a black vulcanite saddle stem. This pipe was gifted to me by Mark Ryan. This will get me to dinner time. Braves and Orioles games are in a rain delay. Tomato the Brave is by my side purring and making biscuits on my shirt. More holes makes me a holy man.

Love the bone stem. I once had a nice, elegant Chacom with bone. Sold it to a friend at the cigar lounge many years ago. It was a perfect shape, size and smoker. He was just getting into pipes at the time (as many of my cigar buddies back then became proselytized by yours truly). So i wanted him to have something nice that would keep him going. I'd buy it back today, if i could.
