Yesterday I also smoked the Sutliff 507C you generously gave me on my corncob. No pictures though,but one of my best smokes so far.

Started off Monday right with some Peretti No. 8 Slices in a Lee 2 Star Bulldog with triangular shank and black coffee. The slices were a sample from @JoeW that I finally got around to trying. Another winner from LJP!
Dried out too much Bayou Morning Flake so I've pack two bowls one in an Irish Seconds System 302 and the other in a small Stanwell Freehand. Starting with the Stanwell first.
C&D Redburn in an MM The Louis Bent with Fiery Red Stem with a mug of black coffee.
Sir John's Flake Virginia in an Altinok.

23 Peterson Navy Flake in my small Fero bamboo billiard.
I've been probing around in my cellar and found a couple of jars of aromatics that I must have bought back around the Truman administration (kidding). They are Borkum Riff blends. One is "California Wine" and the other, "Trinidad Rum." I decided to try the California Wine in a Bones bent. It wasn't too bad, but it reminded me why I don't do a lot of aros in my rotation. I had been out putting fly spray on the horses prior to smoke so I didn't have anything to drink with it.
BTW, here's a close up of this pipe with more light. It is a Bones pipe, but I tried some stain on the wood and it seems to have come out fairly well....

Waking bowl was the remnants of last night's Cobblestone Hiking in the new Ali cherrywood. After a hearty breakfast of eggs, sausage and bacon, the after-breakfast bowl is Steamworks in a Pierluigi fishtail apple with coffee.
Cornell and Diehl Lunchtime Blues in the same Grabow.
