About a quarter of a bowl left of year 2013 Rotary Navy Cut in a post-1938 Pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 bulldog with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Nigel Bruce smoked this model in two Sherlock Holmes movies. Please consider asking Smoking Pipes to bring back this model.

Historian David McCullough passed away yesterday at age 89. I read all of his books, and enjoyed meeting him some years back. RIP.
A sad passing. I loved his book on the Brooklyn Bridge particularly. Did he smoke a pipe?

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2010 Mac Baren Burley London Blend in a smooth medium bend 2011 Rinaldo Collection Fiammata Silver Line 7 Odea 04 flame grain bulldog with a silver band and a tortoise shell acrylic saddle stem. Going to compare this to the newly released version.

Your pipes and tobacco choices don't always resonate with me, but your presentations are invariably gorgeous.
Thank you, the compliment is much appreciated—it doesn’t take long to snap a pic—I figure why not make it a little bit interesting.

My choices don’t always resonate with me all the time—sometimes it comes down to the size of the chamber for what I may be doing at the time, or trying a new blend out.

Solani Silver Flake with my coffee earlier today. Spent a good amount of the weekend up on the mountain at a two day music festival. We had a spot toward the back of the venue under some pop-up shade canopies and I was able to smoke unmolested by event staff at will. The breeze predominantly carried the wisps of smoke up into the trees.
